This is after probably a week and a half or two weeks of using it every day very little patina was growing and I just had to clean it at that point because the copper taste was getting a little bit too much but they recommend to clean it every day. I just kinda wanted to know how long I could go without washing it. Things that I was concerned about were that it was welded. It does not look like it was welded. It looks like it’s very high-quality. I did notice a change in how my gut felt. I love the bottle. It’s super pretty. It does take work to have the bottle so you are going to have to clean it and they recommend letting it air dry. I would always put it by the window and leave it open and then put water before bed it the longer you let the water sit the more it’s gonna have a copper taste. They said that it doesn’t have a copper taste if you Put in another glass that it’s just your nose smelling it but probably by week two I had a really strong copper taste. I put it in a glass water container and it still tasted like copper but again that’s without any washing at all for two weeks. I see that the most discoloration came from where I would put my lips. I’m really happy with the bottle and the quality of it. It gives really good instructions on how to care for it and how to clean it. This isn’t just a regular bottle that you can just have it does require maintenance, but it is worth it.

Smell was strong straight out of packaging but following the included directions a little dish soap and cold water cleared that right up. No taste or smell!!

Since I started to use my water bottle have seen a difference in my body and mind. Only caution to not over do in the beginning you will feel it. Slowly get used to it and increase the use as you feel fit.
